Our Beliefs

We believe according to scripture that there is One God,  and this One God became flesh and walked among us, and gave his own life so that mankind could be saved.

Due. 6:4 Hear O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

1 Tim. 3:16  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world,  received up into glory.

Col. 2:8-10  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the traditions of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  9. For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. 10. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

We believe according to scripture that a person must repent of their sins, and have their sins remitted through baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:38-39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

John 3:5  Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

Gal. 3:27  For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ  have put on Christ.

We believe according to scripture that one should live soberly, righteously, godly, and holy.

Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared unto all men, 12. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour  Jesus Christ; 14. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Hebrew 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

2 Cor. 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

1 Pet. 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
